Three words that forever changed humanity: HE HAS RISEN.

It wasn’t just a display of power to prove His deity. It means so much more for us. Jesus conquered three things so we could live victoriously!

1. Death. The sting of our sin when God said in Genesis that in disobedience “you will surely die”. This does not refer to physical death, but eternal damnatiopexels-photo-208315.jpegn in hell. Now Jesus holds the keys to death and Hades, that anyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.

2. Hopelessness. The reality of pain is still evident in this fallen world. But the good news is, we are now not without hope— knowing that we don’t serve a dead God! Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

3. Curses. Sin, poverty, sickness and addiction are just some of the curses that the enemy has afflicted to mankind. But Jesus took all these curses on the cross (He became a curse for us) so we don’t have to bear them forever. Cast all these burdens to the Lord, knowing that He has already won over them!

“He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people He will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.” (Isaiah‬ ‭25:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬)
