“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15)

At one point or another, there has probably been a time when we felt so alone, that we had no one to turn to, and that no one understands what we’re going through.

But the good news is, there’s actually Someone who’s been through every hardship known to man – Someone who knows our pains, Someone who has experienced the trials and temptations we face, Someone who knows what we need because He’s been there.

That Someone is none other than Jesus.

This verse tells us that Jesus knows what it’s like to be in our situation, and that He can sympathize with our weaknesses.

Therefore, we can come boldly to Him, knowing that He will meet us with compassion, grace, love and mercy.
